Hoof's beat into the dirt in a frantic rhythm. High pitched squeals of distress carry through the night. Sweat slicked bodies race from the ruins. A piercing howl is heard over the pounding beat of hearts. The two newly homeless siblings race towards their brother, praying that they will make it there in time. Glowing red eyes peer through the underbrush, white fangs flash in the night. Distance shortens, time runs out in the mad scramble up the hill. Pink snouts smash against the door, hooves scrape the surface. The predatory shadow looms closer still. Razor claws tarring up the hill. The door opens, the pigs fall through. The wriggling mass of pick bodies scramble to close the door. The wolfs red eyes gleam, jaw dripping great globs of saliva. The door closes on the wolfs mussel. As the pigs basked in their momentary safety, the great wolf backed up, inhaling great gusts of air. The panting pigs trembled as they remembered the devastation the beast laid to their homes in one big breath. Huddled together the panicking pigs squawked they're last goodbyes as the wolf exhaled
